Shanghai Fortran Law Firm and the School of Public Economics and Administration at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) have renewed and formalized their partnership through a joint training agreement for tax graduate students. This collaboration aims to innovate talent development models, deepen practical education reforms in higher education, and foster resource sharing and complementary strengths to cultivate high-caliber professionals in tax and public economic management.
As a designated graduate practical training base for SUFE, Shanghai Fortran Law Firm provides internship opportunities and hands-on training positions for the university’s graduate students. Each year, SUFE selects outstanding students specializing in taxation to intern at the firm where they receive professional guidance and a corresponding work allowance during their internship.
Beyond the internship program, the two parties are also deepening their collaboration in academic and research exchanges. SUFE has appointed Shanghai Fortran Law Firm’s partners and senior attorneys as practice mentors, inviting them to deliver specialized lectures, contribute to curriculum development, and co-develop case studies. In turn, Shanghai Fortran Law Firm has engaged SUFE faculty members to participate in research on cutting-edge topics such as tax compliance.
The renewal of this agreement marks a significant step toward deeper collaboration between Shanghai Fortran Law Firm and SUFE’s School of Public Economics and Administration in talent development, academic exchange, and industry research. It establishes a solid foundation for training more high-quality professionals in tax and public economic management, fostering interdisciplinary talent with strong expertise and practical skills, and contributing further to the development of a law-based society and economic progress.
